Day of rest and praying!

Hey class,

Hope you are enjoying your day off! Do not forget to finish your packet that I handed to you last week. It is very important for class on Wednesday. In class, i will be handing back your tests and we will be starting a the Gospel of John. Your packet will give you you insight into Chapter 1 prior to class so please come ready to dive into His word together.

Also, since we do not have class today, February 18th, I am asking you spend 20 minutes in worship and prayer! Pray for your class, your friends, the school, your family and ask God to open your hearts up to knew things. Journal anything He might lay on your heart and come tell me about it! God is active and so is His word! Listen to music, sing, dance, read some of John if you would like, but my desire for you today is that you would enjoy a precious moment with our Savior today!

Assignment 2

Hey class,

PART 1
I announced this assignments during Wednesdays class but i wanted to post it just in case you forget. In reflection of the things we have covered in bible this semester, I would like you to write two or three sentences on the cartoon picture from the home page of the website. Please use complete sentences and proper grammar as you describe what the cartoon means to you.

PART 2
Along with the cartoon summary, I would like you to watch the video, also located on the home page, and write a paragraph on it as well. This should be a detailed summary, thoughts about it, and or what it means to you.

Please contact me with your answers to both parts of this assignment through that "Contact MR S" on the class website, or bring them to class on Monday February 4th. If you have any questions feel free to email me as well. I encourage you to not wait till Sunday night to do this assignment. Monday the video will be taken down and a new one for the week will be posted.

Reminder

Hey Class,

Just a reminder that there will be a quiz tomorrow on your memory verse. Romans 12:1-2.  We are not going to move on with a new verse till next week, but please remember to also look over the 6 verses we covered in class on Monday, January 28th.

We will be reviewing and covering the material from class on Monday in our next class.

Along with these verses please review your class notes from Wednesday, Jan 23. (Romans 12:1-2 Transforming) and begin preparing for the quiz on Wednesday Jan 28th. This quiz will cover class material, and some of the verses above. We will review and go into detail on Monday next week!

A journal question will be posted on Friday that you will need to do over the weekend and bring to class Monday the 28th.
